News and Appearances

“Women Chefs: Artists in the Kitchen” is a celebration of art, cuisine, and the women who feed us. By pairing visual artists and chefs, we will harness the passion of both creators’ worlds to stretch the boundaries of portraiture. I have been partnered with woodworker Richard Foa for the exhibit. Join us to celebrate women chefs and reveal the artistry of the kitchen at the Mansion at Strathmore from September 5 through November 8, 2015.

I will be doing a cooking demo at Strathmore on Wednesday, October 21, 6-8 pm. Free, but reservations are required: The Art of Taste

    Hi Drew,
In looking for a caterer for a dinner party (small 8 people), I stumbled on the Les Dames d’Escoffiers and saw that you’re in there! I had no idea!

Would you happen to know anyone who could cater a dinner party for my husband’s birthday on 9/11/18 at 7pm at our house? Could have vegan (def. vegetarian) as well as carnivore plus no/low carb and no fish parameters. Husband loves chicken….

Any guidance would be much appreciated!

    Best regards,
    Denise McNally

Good morning Chef Drew, I miss assisting at L’Academie but noticed you offer classes at Dawson’s market. I am really interested in the Indian Tandoor class. One of my friends is allergic to hot peppers so I was wondering if this class may not work for him. Would you mind sharing the menu? I would also be interested in knowing what is on the menu for tonight’s California food and wine class. Thanks, Doris
